Terms of Service
BabyClaw by Speech Intelligence, Inc.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BabyClaw desktop application, the BabyClaw Browser Relay Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Speech Intelligence, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Account and Authentication
Certain features of the Service require authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.
4. AI-Powered Features
The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist you with tasks. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content or actions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI outputs.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you provide to or create through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not sell Your Content to third parties.
6. Managed LLM Credits
If you use managed LLM credits provided through the Service, usage is subject to the credit limits and rate limits described in the Service. We reserve the right to modify credit allocations, pricing, and rate limits at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we access, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Speech Intelligence, Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEECH INTELLIGENCE, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Speech Intelligence, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.
